Graeme Clegg

Graeme Clegg is the founder of the New Image group of companies. Since its inception in 1984 Graeme has been a pioneer in the development of colostrum products and his knowledge of the nutrition industry has seen him become a regular speaker at international industry conferences.

Graeme has been nominated twice for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

A 2003 category winner, his list of achievements has continued to grow, with a New Zealand Stock Exchange listing; a tenfold increase in turnover, a successful launch of New Image health & nuttritional products into more countries; the development of new retail brands and FMCG as well as the direct sales lines; plus the creation of a scientific division dedicated to product development and support and the expansion of two manufacturing plants to keep up with consumer demand.

Max Parkin

Max Parkin retired in 2007 after 36 years with Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited. His last role was Director International Manufacture, where he was responsible for Fonterra’s manufacturing relationships with major overseas joint-venture partners. Previous to that he held the role of Director Operations and a number of other senior management positions.

In the 1980s, Max was one of the first to identify the potential of colostrum as an innovative value-added product for the dairy industry and he has taken an active interest in its development ever since.

Max is an Accredited Member of the Institute of Directors.

Alan Stewart

Deputy Chairman

Alan Stewart has been on the New Image board since inception. A Chartered Accountant in public practice since 1966, Alan has also served as a director of a number of other private companies. He was Managing Director of Hansells NZ Limited from 1987 until he sold his interest in 1998, during which time Hansells acquired Australian biscuit manufacturer Lanes Biscuits, Aztec Mexican Foods, and Krispa Foods. Alan is an Accredited Member of the Institute of Directors.

Nigel Sinclair

Independent Director

Nigel Sinclair is one of Australasia’s leading direct sellers. He is currently Vice-Chairman of the Direct Selling Association of Australia, he has previously been Chairman for two terms and has been inducted into the Association’s Hall of Fame. He has considerable experience in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) area.

Nigel has extensive experience in direct selling. He is a former President of Nu Skin Enterprises Australasia, Managing Director of Nutri-Metics Australia and New Zealand and President and Managing Director of Avon Products for Australasia.

He has held senior executive positions in Canada with Vick Chemical and Shulton (later part of Proctor and Gamble).

A dynamic and talented businessman, Chua has a BA in Economics and Commerce from the University of Toronto, and has been with New Image for 19 years.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Chua has spear-headed the group’s development and growth within Asia. Drawing on more than 30 years’ experience with direct selling Chua is leading both the expansion of our Direct Selling business into new country markets throughout Asia and the ongoing development of our established markets.
