Graeme Clegg is the founder of the New Image group of companies. Since its inception in 1984 Graeme has been a pioneer in the development of colostrum products and his knowledge of the nutrition industry has seen him become a regular speaker at international industry conferences.

Graeme has been nominated twice for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

A 2003 category winner, his list of achievements has continued to grow, with a New Zealand Stock Exchange listing; a tenfold increase in turnover, a successful launch of New Image health & nuttritional products into more countries; the development of new retail brands and FMCG as well as the direct sales lines; plus the creation of a scientific division dedicated to product development and support and the expansion of two manufacturing plants to keep up with consumer demand.

A dynamic and talented businessman, Chua has a BA in Economics and Commerce from the University of Toronto, and has been with New Image for 19 years.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Chua has spear-headed the group’s development and growth within Asia. Drawing on more than 30 years’ experience with direct selling Chua is leading both the expansion of our Direct Selling business into new country markets throughout Asia and the ongoing development of our established markets.

Guy Wills

General Manager – Health Sciences

Guy Wills has diverse sales and marketing, senior management, and leadership experience in business and corporate/multinational environments. He has over a decade of experience in fast moving consumer goods and functional/health foods, coupled with significant entrepreneurship and start-up experience in high technology businesses including bio technology and dairy bio actives.

He has co-founded a number of award winning, high profile and successful new venture businesses, with the most recent being Somnaceutics a company that developed and commercialised a sleep enhancing milk product.

Brent Wollaston

General Manager - Manufacturing & Supply Chain

BTech(Hons), MPhil

Brent Wollaston was most recently Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain for Griffins Foods in NZ. Brent has worked in the UK and South Africa during his career and consulted on his own accord in the refining, cement and dairy sectors on manufacturing and supply chain projects.

He won an AGMARDT masterate scholarship for research in the agricultural industry sector and graduated with a MPhil in Management Science and Information Systems in 1994.

Peter Lehrke

General Manager - Research & Development

Peter Lehrke graduated from Massey University in 1982. He joined New Image two years ago and heads up R&D.

Peter has over 30 years experience in human and veterinary pharmaceuticals, nutritional and dietary supplements. Peter brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all areas of product development and manufacturing having worked at GlaxoPharma-ceuticals, the largest pharmaceutical company in the world.

He has held senior management roles at PharmaPacific, Douglas Pharmaceuticals and GMP Pharmaceuticals.

Simon Yarrow

General Manager - Global Sales and Marketing

Before joining New Image Group Simon was CEO of EnCoate Holdings Limited, a venture capital technology start-up in probiotics. Prior to this he has held senior business management roles in the dairy industry including LIC and Fonterra and has extensive experience in Asia including FMCG while based in Singapore for the NZ Dairy Board.

He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology in 1994 and a Master’s of Science in Molecular Biology in 1996 from Auckland University.

Craig Cooper

Group Quality Manager

Craig has over 14 years experience in quality related roles within the NZ Food industry. Craig was most recently Group Quality Manager for Villa Maria Estate Ltd.

During Craig’s career he has worked as a NZFSA approved food safety auditor for 3 years and has developed the quality and food safety systems for a number of leading NZ food manufacturers.

Simon Beuth

With a strong finance background in FMCG and funds management in New Zealand and London, Simon Beuth is no stranger to working in a demanding business environment.

Simon was previously Financial Controller for Nice & Natural which is now a part of Griffins Foods who manufacture and import snacks to New Zealand and Australian markets.
